Reason Seven – 1 Enoch Answers Questions Not found In The Bible

Enoch Answers Questions the 66 Books Do Not

The Bible affirms the reality of demons, giants, and fallen angels — but it does not fully explain where demons come from or why they seek bodies.

Enoch fills in what Scripture affirms but does not detail.

Watchers vs. Demons — Two Different Beings

Enoch makes a critical distinction the Bible never explicitly defines:

Watchers = fallen angels

Demons = disembodied spirits of the giants

These are not the same.

Genesis Confirms the Giants

Genesis 6:4 (KJV)

“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men…”

The word Nephilim is in the Bible.

Giants are not mythology — they are stated fact.

The Bible tells us:

• Angels rebelled

• Giants were born

• Judgment came

But it stops there.

Enoch Explains What the Bible Leaves Unsaid

1 Enoch 15:8–10

(R. H. Charles Translation, 1917)

“And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth

Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin.”

This passage is decisive.

According to Enoch:

• Watchers = angels who fell

• Giants = hybrid offspring

Demons = the spirits of dead giants

This answers a question the Bible never directly explains.

Demons Are Disembodied Spirits

Enoch continues:

1 Enoch 15:11–12

“They shall cause destruction… and these spirits shall rise against the children of men… because they have proceeded from them.”

Demons:

• Have no bodies

• Seek embodiment

• Afflict humanity

This explains their behavior.

The Bible Shows Demons — But Never Explains Them

Jesus casts out demons repeatedly, yet never explains their origin.

Gospel of Mark 5:12–13 (KJV)

“And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine…

And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine…”

Why do demons beg to enter animals?

The Bible shows the event — Enoch explains the reason.

Disembodied spirits seek bodies because:

• They once had flesh

• They lost it through judgment

• They wander seeking rest

Giants Are Biblical — Not Extra-Biblical

The Bible repeatedly affirms giants after the Flood:

Book of Numbers 13:33 (KJV)

“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak…”

First Book of Samuel 17:4 (KJV)

“And there went out a champion… named Goliath…”

Giants are real in Scripture.

Enoch explains what happened after they died.

Why This Matters

Without Enoch:

• Demons appear without origin

• Giants appear without consequence

• Angelic rebellion lacks resolution

With Enoch:

• Fallen angels are judged

• Giants are destroyed

• Demons are explained

Enoch does not contradict Scripture — he completes it.

Summary

• Genesis confirms angels, giants, and judgment

• The Bible shows demons but does not define them

• Enoch identifies demons as spirits of dead Nephilim

• Jesus’ exorcisms align perfectly with Enoch’s explanation

This is not speculation. Enoch is giving us ancient wisdom that was lost in the modern era, of the true origin of demons.
